Hi, I’m Vikhyat Narwal, a Director, Director of Photography, editor, and DI Artist based in British Columbia, Canada. In filmmaking, I’ve always believed that wearing many hats isn’t a limitation; it’s what allows me to see the entire picture.

I’m deeply passionate about visual storytelling and the craft of turning an idea, a feeling, or a moment into something people can see, feel, and remember. From shaping the visual language of a film as a DP, directing performances and stories, crafting the edit, to creating the final look through colour and DI, I love being involved in every stage of the process.

Over the years, I’ve worked across commercials, branded content, documentaries, weddings, music and creative projects, constantly exploring new ways to tell stories through light, composition, movement, colour and emotion.

For me, filmmaking isn't simply about making something look cinematic. It’s about knowing why a frame exists, what it should make someone feel, and how every shot contributes to the story.

That’s what drives me.

Through VN Films, I’m building a creative space where storytelling, cinematography and post-production come together, creating work that feels authentic, immersive, visually striking and timeless.
